Before you involve yourself in small-sided or junior football, it is now compulsory to register through your club on our COMET system. Please contact your club comet champion to enable them to complete this process. They will need the following details:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Headshot
- Address
- Nationality
- Place of birth
- Email address
- Ethnicity
- Qualification certificates
Once your club create a registration, you will receive a registration form via email. Please sign this document and return this to your COMET champion to enable them to upload the document to your registration.
Once you are registered in your role, you will receive a digital registration card via email and this can be downloaded to your phone. When the QR code on the digital registration card is scanned, it will show your role and DBS expiry date.
Your registration expiry date will be the end of the season or in line with your DBS expiry date or your qualification expiry date. You will receive reminder emails through comet if your DBS or a qualification is due to expire soon and it is important you contact your club Safeguarding Officer to complete a new DBS check or you book onto the relavant courses. It is advised that this is completed three months prior to your DBS/qualification expiring.
Please note that you must have a valid registration on comet to be involved in junior football.
